During the New York Jets final exhibition game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the NFL team honored two girls’ flag high school football teams that won championships earlier this year.
Ridgewood, which won its third straight New Jersey state championship in June, was joined by Tottenville, which won its second straight New York Public School Athletic League (PSAL) 2A championship earlier this, at MetLife Stadium where both teams received their championship rings.
