The Chicago Bears NFL FLAG Regional concluded with nine more teams punching their tickets to the 2026 NFL FLAG Championships. The day kicked off early at the Clarence Hicks Sports Complex in Rockford, Illinois, and the excited field delivered some truly exceptional football.

With this weekend’s results, the total number of qualified teams has surged to 36.

Shutouts and High-Powered Offense

The day was marked by high scores and defensive stone walls:

  • Toledo Dirty Birdz (8U Coed): The HSFA FLAG No. 1 ranked 8U Coed team was an absolute machine. They moved through the competition with ease, scoring a massive 132 points without allowing a single point to be scored on them, earning the 8U division crown with a flawless record.
  • Titans Football (14U Girls): In a stunning display of two-way football, Titans Football scored 106 points in their five games while maintaining a perfect defensive zero. Their closest test came in the championship game, where they pulled out a hard-fought 12-0 victory over KC Heat – Teal.

Clutch Performances

We saw several thrilling final performances across the other divisions:

  • 10U Coed: West MI Elite made a huge splash, avenging an earlier group round loss to the NWC Rangers in the semifinals and then topped Cal Select in a dominating championship game performance.
  • 12U Coed: NEO Elite battled through a highly competitive field and delivered their best football when it counted, mercying SWYFT 28-0 in the championship game to take home the crown.
  • 14U Coed: Two hometown teams made it to the final, with the Rockford Vikings edging out the Rockford Bears in a thrilling 13-12 championship game.

  • HS Girls: Carmel Catholic escaped the loaded High School Girls division with a narrow 7-0 victory over Evanston Township in their final match.

Tomorrow, the excitement continues with the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders NFL FLAG Regionals.
