Detroit Lions host first-ever Girls High School Flag Football Championship Tournament

Ford Field, the home National Football League's Detroit Lions, will host the team's first-ever Michigan Girls High School Flag Football Championship.

Ford Field, the home National Football League‘s Detroit Lions, will host the team’s first-ever Michigan Girls High School Flag Football Championship. Seven teams will complete for the title.

Since its inception, the Michigan Girls High School Flag Football League, organized by the Lions has grown from four teams during the 2023 pilot season to 24 teams in 2024 and 41 teams this spring.

Brighton High School from the All Grit League is the top seed and receives a first round bye. Below are the quarterfinal matchups:
