Palisades High wins second straight Carolina Panthers flag football championship

Palisades beat Butler 12-6 Sunday to win its second straight Carolina Panthers/Charlotte-Mecklenberg Schools Girls High School Flag Football League Championship.

Palisades beat Butler 12-6 Sunday to win its second straight Carolina Panthers/Charlotte-Mecklenberg Schools Girls High School Flag Football League Championship. The game was played at Bank of America Stadium, home of the NFL team.

The players got a thrill when Panthers’ quarterback Bryce Young stopped by to check out the action.

This year, the league featured 30 teams in the Charlotte-area.
