Florida girls’ flag football juggernaut will go after its 9th straight state championship Saturday at the AdventHealth Training Center, the indoor practice facility of the National Football League‘s Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Knights will play Choctawhatchee in the Class 2A final.
Robinson advanced to the title game with a 34-12 defeat of Hernando in the state semifinals. Overall, Robinson will be looking for its 10th state crown.
Choctawhatchee will be looking for its first-ever state crown after beating Dr. Joaquin Garcia 20-19 in overtime.
The Indians and Robinson have battled for championships in 2022 and 2023 with the Knights winning both times.
