With the first-ever season of girls’ flag high school football in Minnesota underway, the National Football League‘s Minnesota Vikings are beginning to salute coaches. This week, the team announced its first two Coaches of the Week.
The coaches are chosen based on their contribution on the football field, but more importantly, on the impact they make within their community and for their student-athletes. The Vikings will donate $1,000 to the honored coaches’ football programs.
